Australia wons its first Asian fooball trophy with the Matildas defeating North Korea in the final of the AFC Women's Asian Cup in Chengdu. The Asian Champions also qualified for the FIFA Women's World Cup scheduled to take place between 26 June and 17 July 2011. See the penalty shoot-out here.
