Hyundai provides 1250 vehicles for FIFA World Cup

South Korea's Hyundai Motor, the only official automobile sponsor of the FIFA World Cup, has provided about 1,250 Hyundai cars for the world's biggest football event. Hyundai's top-of-the-line vehicles, such as Equus, Grandeur, Sonata, Santa Fe and Trajet, will be escorting world leaders, FIFA officials, including Joseph S. Blatter, the president of FIFA, and the other international VIP guests during the tournament in Germany. Also, 250 Hyundai tour and limousine buses will transport 32 national team members, volunteers helping at the event, and world journalists across the European country. "We expect a great deal of media exposure on Hyundai brand during the World Cup in Germany," a Hyundai official told Park Hyong-ki of The Korea Times. "We believe the international event will help boost Hyundai's image and quality." Hyundai is a FIFA World Cup sponsor contracted until 2014.
