Asia's best players getting global recognition

The Asian Football Confederation's 2005 Asian Player of the Year award is being noticed world-wide. The final 10 nominees will be trimmed to three finalists on 14 November with the winner to be announced at the AFC player of the year awards ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on 30 November.
